Alpine Cowboys Pull Away From Roswell Invaders 13-7

June 5 2024 The Alpine Cowboys defeated the Roswell Invaders 13-7, collecting 13 hits in a game that saw Alpine score in the first and third through eighth innings. Roswell answered with three runs in both the fourth and fifth innings and added one in the ninth, but could not overcome Alpine’s steady offensive production.

Tommy Kretzler led the Cowboys with three hits, three runs and two RBIs, including a home run. Drake Angeron added two hits and three runs, while Drew Bayard had two hits and two RBIs. Hunter Reid contributed a two-run homer, and James Prockish and Sean Becker each recorded two hits. Alpine finished with four errors but turned one double play.

Roswell’s Lucas Scott went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs, while Luis Moreno collected two hits and two RBIs. Shane Morrow also homered and drove in two runs as the Invaders finished with nine hits.

Jacob Bradley earned the win for Alpine after allowing eight hits and six runs, four earned, in five innings while striking out six.
