Pecos Bills Rally Past Alpine Cowboys 4-1

July 1 2025 The Pecos Bills scored four unanswered runs to defeat the Alpine Cowboys 4-1. Alpine took a 1-0 lead in the first inning, but Pecos broke through for two runs in the eighth and added two more in the ninth to secure the victory. The Bills outhit the Cowboys 9-4 and committed no errors.

Nick Capozzi led Pecos with three hits and an RBI, while Rene Mendoza also collected three hits. Kolton Kendrick went 1-for-2 with a run and an RBI and drew three walks. Wyatt Morgan and Kyle Waters each scored once for the Bills. Pecos had no home runs in the game.

Geo Rivera earned the win after allowing three hits and one run over seven innings. He struck out seven and walked five. Andrew Duran finished the game with two scoreless innings for the save, allowing one hit while striking out none and walking two.

Parker Wakeman took the loss for Alpine despite allowing just two runs in 7 2/3 innings; he surrendered seven hits, walked five and struck out five. Jean Reyes worked the final 1 1/3 innings and allowed two runs on two hits. Josh Rego and Brandon Andrews each had two hits for the Cowboys, while Jake Sisto drove in Alpines lone run.
