A four-run seventh inning sealed a 13-6 win for the White Sands Pupfish (8-3) over the Alpine Cowboys (8-3) on Saturday at Kokernot Field.

The White Sands Pupfish scored in the seventh on a two-run error, an error, and an RBI single by Aaron Olivas.

Shamir Ubiera racked up four RBIs on four hits for the White Sands Pupfish. He doubled in the first inning, singled in the fifth and seventh innings, and homered in the eighth inning.

Even though David Steele Jr. allowed five runs over five innings he still recorded the victory, his second of the season. Steele Jr. struck out three, walked one and gave up 10 hits.

Josh Cruse couldnt get it done on the mound for the Alpine Cowboys, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked two and struck out five.
