Emmanuel Paulino drove in three runs as the Trinidad Triggers (21-12) took home a 7-6 victory over the Alpine Cowboys (20-14) at Central Park on Tuesday. He homered in the first inning and singled in the sixth inning.
Jarret Young had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the third and fifth innings.
David Gates brought the heat against the Trinidad Triggers during his outing. The Trinidad Triggers managed just one hit off of Gates, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out one during his five innings of work.
Even though Richie Anderson allowed six runs over six innings he still recorded the victory, his third of the season. He struck out six, walked none and surrendered nine hits.
R. Rogers couldnt get it done on the hill for the Alpine Cowboys, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in one inning, walked none and struck out none.
