Reagan Rutledge went 2-4, helping the Alpine Cowboys (11-12) to a 4-1 victory over the Garden City Wind (12-11) on Monday at Clint Lightner. He singled in the first and second innings.

Eli Roundtree had a hot bat for the Garden City Wind. Roundtree went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Michael Fitzwater improved to 1-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Alpine Cowboys. He allowed one run over five innings. Fitzwater struck out one, walked one and gave up five hits.

Ryan Riordan was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
