The Alpine Cowboys (17-13) and the Santa Fe Fuego (6-28) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the Alpine Cowboys that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 12-7 win at Fort Marcy Park.

Ely Gallego got his first win for the Alpine Cowboys despite allowing five runs over 7 2/3 innings. Gallego struck out five, walked one and gave up 11 hits.
Michael Hahn couldnt get it done on the hill for the Santa Fe Fuego, taking a loss. He allowed nine runs in three innings, walked five and struck out six.
