The bats were busy at Kokernot Field on Sunday, and when the dust cleared the Alpine Cowboys (31-30) had a 10-8 win over the Roswell Invaders (42-21).
The teams totaled 27 hits in the game.
The Alpine Cowboys were led by Eric Fergusons hitting. Ferguson went 3-5, drove in one and scored three runs. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.
Ely Gallegos eight strikeouts were enough to push the Alpine Cowboys past the Roswell Invaders. Gallego allowed one earned run on nine hits and two walks over seven innings.
Eric Gleese couldnt get it done on the hill for the Roswell Invaders, taking a loss. He allowed 10 runs in six innings, walked one and struck out six.
