Mejias double propels the Roswell Invaders past the Alpine Cowboys 4-1

Four first-inning runs helped the Roswell Invaders (43-15) to a 4-1 win over the Alpine Cowboys (34-24) at Kokernot Field on Saturday.

Eric Lambe baffled the Alpine Cowboys, striking out six batters. Lambe allowed one earned run on five hits and three walks over seven innings.
