7/20/2013-The Alpine Cowboys beat the Roswell Invaders 6-2 behind Logan Lottis home run and Noah Piard pitched six innings and held the Invaders to two runs. Joel Carranza had two hits and two runs. Logan Lotti had a home run and two runs scored.

The win put the Cowboys a full game ahead of the Las Vegas Train Robbers for homefield advantage should the two teams meet in the 2nd round. The win also snapped a 14 game winning streak that date back to July 3rd when Roswell lost a game at Las Vegas.
