The Santa Fe Fuego (4-2) beat the Alpine Cowboys (3-3) 7-3 on Friday at Kokernot Field behind Eric Kozel, who collected four hits. He homered in the first inning and singled in the second and third innings.

Austin Carden brought the heat against the Alpine Cowboys during his outing. The Alpine Cowboys managed just one hit off of Carden, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his 1 2/3 innings of work.

The Alpine Cowboys were led by Forgeys hitting. Forgey went 2-7 and drove in one. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the thirteenth inning.

Heck racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Alpine Cowboys. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Each team blasted the others pitching, and there were 17 total runs and 26 hits during the game. Managers of the two teams seemingly emptied their bullpens in search of the win, as there were nine pitchers used in the game.

Andrew Shoemaker recorded his second win of the year for the Alpine Cowboys. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered one hit.

The Cowboys will now host the winner of Santa Fe and Trinidad which was rained out on Sunday Night.

Ryan began his professional coaching career as an assistant coach for the Texarkana Gunslingers in the Continental Baseball League in 2008 and 2009. In 2010 Ryan made the move the Alpine, Texas where he became the manager of the Big Bend Cowboys. The Cowboys won the final championship of the CBL in 2010. In 2011 Ryan remained in Alpine and joined new ownership as the Alpine 06 Cowboys joined the Pecos League. The Cowboys made the playoffs in 2011. In 2012 the Cowboys won the Pecos League Championship. In 2013 and 2014 the Cowboys made the playoffs.

A magnificent effort by Anthony Figliola lifted the Alpine Cowboys (44-19) to a 12-0 win in seven innings over the White Sands Pupfish (26-31) on Tuesday.

Figliola held the White Sands Pupfish scoreless during his seven innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on three hits while striking out six.

The Alpine Cowboys continued to pile on the runs until the end of the game. The Alpine Cowboys scored three runs in the final one innings to cap the blowout win. Mercedes racked up six RBIs on four hits for the White Sands Pupfish. He doubled in the first inning, singled in the fourth inning, and homered in the fifth and seventh innings.

Ian Drapsho delivered a big hit off the bench in the seven.. His pinch-hit double was the key moment in the White Sands Pupfishs four-run win.

With the White Sands Pupfish trailing by three in the seventh inning, Drapsho came to the plate and doubled, bringing home Mercedes.

Each team blasted the others pitching, and there were 26 total runs and 27 hits during the game. Relief pitchers got their fill of innings during the game, with the opposing managers using 10 pitchers in total.

The Alpine Cowboys scored in the second on an RBI double by Tyler Heck, a two-run double by Casanova Donaldson, a two-run double by Austin Prott, and a two-run home run by Anthony Renteria.

The Alpine Cowboys Prott was perfect at the dish, going 4-4.

Bladel racked up five RBIs on four hits for the Trinidad Triggers. He doubled in the fourth inning, homered in the fifth inning, and singled in the second and eighth innings.

Bladel struck out seven hitters en route to the the Trinidad Triggers win. Bladel allowed one earned run on eight hits and two walks over seven innings.

The Trinidad Triggers blew out the Alpine Cowboys (32-17) thanks to 20 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Trinidad Triggers scored four runs in the sixth on the Trinidad Triggers scored in the sixth on a solo home run by K.C. Judge, a two-run home run by Blake May, and a passed ball.

An Alpine o6 Cowboys vs Roswell Invaders Pecos League game has it all for pure excitement, countering the assertion by non-fans that "nothing happens in baseball". For the coaches, players and fans in the stands or listening closely to KVLF, our guts must be made of chemistry lab grade beaker glass to house the tension stirred acid when the two arch-rivals have at it.

It didnt just begin this season. It is a horse race each time they take the field. For example, Roswell beat Alpine in the first round of the best of three 2011 Pecos League play-offs. Game 2 was a Cowboys 5-4 win with Roswell taking the rubber match 11-9 on a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 14th inning. Ask Alpines Head Coach, Ryan Stevens about that particular contest and hell be on auto-pilot, saying: "by one pitch – one pitch". And dont think that he doesnt have Invaders on his mind when we spoke recently, having pretty much built his 2012 and 2013 squads based upon the 2011 play-off loss. Kennedy allowed five hits, no walks and struck out five.

Five runs in the opening three innings allowed the Alpine Cowboys to easily put away the White Sands Pupfish. A double by Casanova Donaldson, a groundout by Tyler Heck, a sacrifice fly by Austin Prott, and an RBI single by Riley Smith in the first inning and a sacrifice fly by Donaldson and a groundout by Heck during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Alpine Cowboys.

Prott racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Alpine Cowboys.

Ian Drapsho was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed five runs.

Both the White Sands Pupfish (4-8) and the Alpine Cowboys (11-5) put runners aboard on Thursday, but it was the White Sands Pupfish that were able to take advantage, pulling out an 8-3 win at Kokernot Field.

Preston Lyon racked up three RBIs on two hits for the White Sands Pupfish. He homered in the second inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Riley Smith boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Alpine Cowboys. He singled in the second and fourth innings and doubled in the sixth inning.

Joe McCarthy improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the White Sands Pupfish. He allowed three runs over 5 2/3 innings. McCarthy struck out four, walked none and gave up 10 hits.

Anthony Figliola was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked four and struck out two.

Matt Henrickson was hot from the plate for the Alpine Cowboys. Henrickson went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Corben Green put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Douglas Diablos. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the first and fifth innings.

John Cruse recorded his third win of the year for the Alpine Cowboys. He allowed two runs over six innings. Cruse struck out three, walked two and gave up nine hits.

A walk-off from Brian Milliman brought home the winning run for the Alpine Cowboys (10-3) in a 10-9 victory over the White Sands Pupfish at Kokernot Field on Tuesday.

Milliman racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Alpine Cowboys. He singled in the first and sixth innings and homered in the eighth inning.

Each team blasted the others pitching, and there were 19 total runs and 27 hits during the game. There were eight pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off.

Ryan Rogers recorded his second win of the year for the Alpine Cowboys. Rogers struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.

A walk-off error from Leandro Mateo brought home the winning run for the Douglas Diablos (4-5) in a 10-9 victory over the Alpine Cowboys (8-3) in 10 innings at Copper King Park on Thursday.

Mateo did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Douglas Diablos, reaching base two times. He singled in the second inning.

Each team blasted the others pitching, and there were 19 total runs and 24 hits during the game. Relief pitchers got their fill of innings during the game, with the opposing managers using 11 pitchers in total.

Malquiel Brito led the Douglas Diablos offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Mike Morales got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Ten runs in the first three innings allowed the Alpine Cowboys to put the game away early. A two-run single by Corey Caswell during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Alpine Cowboys.

Tyler Heck went a perfect 5-5 at the plate for the Alpine Cowboys. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the third, fourth, and seventh innings.

The Alpine Cowboys scored four runs in the fourth on an RBI double by Corey Caswell, an RBI double by John Hotta, an RBI double by Hotta, an RBI double by Casanova Donaldson, and an RBI single by Austin Prott.

Hotta had a hot bat for the Alpine Cowboys. Hotta went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs.
