Trinidad Triggers 8 defeats Alpine Cowboys 1 behind Derrick Sylve

Jared Strait helps the Alpine Cowboys down the Trinidad Triggers 10-7

Buzz Shirley got the win for the Alpine Cowboys. Shirley went six innings allowing 12 hits and 7 runs which turned out to be a quality start for the Cowboys. Amezquita and Castillo pitched scoreless frames out of the bullpen for the Cowboys.

Tyler Fischer got the loss for the Trinidad Triggers. Fischer went 4-2/3 innings giving up 10 runs for the Triggers. The Triggers Bullpen went scoreless the rest of the way but it was too late.

For the Alpine Cowboys, Jared Strait lead coming out of the bullpen and getting the save. He setup a 1-2-3 double play with bases loaded in the top of the 9th that ended all hope for the Triggers



Andrew Capone also helped the ballclub at the plate going 3-6. Adam Purdy was 3-5 for the Triggers with 2 rbis.

Mark had numerous game winning hits and scored several game winning runs. In 2022 Traylor has had his best year for the Cowboys.
